 Former Rivers State Governor and immediate past Minister of Transportation under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, Right Honourable Chibuike Amaechi, on Monday, cleared insinuations in some quarters that he has left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), by stating categorically that his long silence does not mean that he has dumped the party. Amaechi was reacting to a fictitious report by an unidentified Ibeh, who claimed that the former Minister of Transportation has regretted joining the APC. Amaechi attributed the malicious report to the handiwork of mischief-makers. Chidinma Adetshina crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024

  Weeks after she was forced to withdraw from the Miss South Africa pageant, Ms Chidinma Onwe Adetshina has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.   The 23-year-old beat 24 other contestants to clinch the coveted crown at the pageant which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos state today August 31. Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has taken to social media to share his thoughts on envy among Nigeria’s political class,  amidst allegations of corruption and misappropriation of government funds during his eight-years tenure.   El-Rufai’s administration has been accused of siphoning ₦432 billion, leaving the state with huge debt liabilities.
